Day 1: BES Education and Community engagement –

Day 2: BES III conceptual structure.

               Location: USGS Conference Room

11-12 April (1.5 days):

Day 1: (afternoon with evening reception): BES and the Arts;

Day 2: Use of BES Integrative Themes (Meta; Choice; Stream).

13 June (1 day): Presentation of draft synthetic talk outlines and enhanced integration.

22 October:       Annual Meeting at Cylburn Arboretum-Vollmer Center–all day

23 October:       Annual Meeting/Midterm Review

·        morning presentations focused on Midterm Review—at Cylburn—combined Annual Meeting audience & Review Team

·        afternoon Baltimore field tour for Midterm Review Team

·        evening Open House & Greening Celebration at Cylburn

24 October:       Midterm Review Second Day – at UMBC CUERE Room 206

·        morning meeting Review Team, BES-IM, Admin, CUERE, Education, Community Engagement, meet UMBC, US FS & GS leadership

·        lunch & early afternoon – Review Team writing

·        afternoon – Review Team Report
