Following the 100th Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of America in Baltimore, Nature writer Daniel Chessey has written an article about urban ecology.
Chessey stressed the growing interest in studying urban ecology and the increased number of presentations, symposiums and other events highlighting urban ecology at this year’s ESA Annual Meeting.
This is a great article which includes brief comments from Steward Pickett and Nancy Grimm, directors of the two NSF LTER urban sites, as well as comments from several others studying urban ecology.
